Studio

From my little garden studio I hand make all my ceramics from start to finish. I enjoy switching between hand building and throwing, trying out different clays, different decorating techniques, different glazes.

I’m inspired by animals and nature, by the English countryside, by Japanese minimalism and by my Chinese heritage.

It’s a long process, taking several weeks and I hold my breath whenever I open the kiln, but there is something so special, so unique about a well-crafted ceramic piece. My ceramics are designed to be admired but also to be handled, used, enjoyed every day.
